Kichloo seeks judicial probe into killing of Parihar brothers

KISHTWAR, Novt 13: Senior National Conference leader and former Minister Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo  today sought judicial probe by a sitting High Court Judge into the unfortunate killing of Anil Parihar and his brother, Ajeet Parihar recently in Kishtwar.
While interacting with people, who included a large number of members of minority community, he demanded the report of the probe to be made public in a time bound manner.  He said the culprits should be exposed and sternly dealt with as per law.
Kichloo regretted over the attempts being made to polarize the situation for furthering political agendas and hoped that the people of Kishtwar will unitedly fight and isolate such elements. He said Kishtwar town is known for its harmony and brotherhood as both Hindus and Muslims have been living in complete harmony from times immemorial.  He said the people of the land of sapphires, shrines and saffron would not allow the seeds of hate to be sown to vitiate the atmosphere.
“My earnest appeal to the people of Kishtwar is to maintain harmony because some hate and mischief mongers want to disrupt peace in the Kishtwar town”, he said, adding that every time Kishtwar was targetted and the people gave a befitting reply by maintaining unity and tranquility.
He hoped that justice will be done in the instant case and urged the people not to give any heed to rumours about the situation in Kishtwar
He also made a passionate appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir not to fall prey to rumours.
