RAJOURI, Apr 11: Darhal police recovered a kidnapped boy and arresting the accused.
As per police spokesperson, on Friday one Naseer Hussain, son of Missri, a resident of village Nadyaan lodged a written report with Police Station Darhal that his 12 years old minor nephew namely Mehmood Hussain, son of Nassar Hussain is missing from his house since Wednesday.
The complainant further stated that during search at family level it was found that he had been kidnapped by Mohammad Mahroof, son of Mohammad Shafi of Nadyaan and kept at some unknown place.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR number 41/15 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Darhal and investigation started.
Sensing the seriousness of the case, SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal deputed a Special Police Team headed by SHO Darhal SI Mohammad Sharief Awan under the supervision of DySP (Ops) Iftikhar Ahmed for the search and recovery of kidnapped boy.
Police party conducted searches and after hectic efforts, the kidnapped boy was recovered from the captivity of accused Mohammad Mahroof alias Shampu. The accused kept the boy in Rani Badetar village area of Chingus.
The police team also arrested the accused and rescued the kidnapped boy and handed him over to legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
