MENDHAR, Dec 17: The police today has recovered a young girl, who was allegedly kidnapped from Ari area of Mendhar on December 14.
Reports said that on the complaint of the parents of 19-year-old Sakina (name changed), resident of Ari village, the police registered a case and started investigation. The police party under the supervision of SDPO, Mendhar Zeeshan Bhat conducted raid at Samote village in Rajouri today and recovered the girl. Her kidnapper, Mohd Ikhlaq, son of Abdul Gafoor, however, managed to escape from the spot.
The girl after medical examination was handed over to the parents. Police party was conducting raids to nab the accused, who was still at large.
