RAJOURI, Nov 20: A kidnapped minor girl hailing from Rajouri area was recovered by police from Jammu city last night.
A police spokesman said that based on the inputs received from the parents of the victim, a Rajouri police party led by SI Mohd Razak, raided a hideout in Jammu and recovered the 16-year-old girl. The police also arrested the accused Reyasat Hussain , son of Mohd Khadam, resident of Nagrota (Rajouri). The girl also hails from the same village. She was allegedly kidnapped on November 10 and remained untraced since then. The police after medical examination handed over the girl to the parents. A case FIR No. 563/ 2015 was registered against Reyasat and his four associates at Rajouri Police Station.
