JAMMU, May 5: Bishnah police recovered a missing girl from RS Pura.
As per police sources, family members of a girl lodged a complaint with police station Bishnah few days back stating that Gulshan Kumar, son of Sohan Lal, a resident of Jinder Khurd had kidnapped their daughter.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police recovered the kidnapped girl from RS Pura, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
The girl has been restored to family members after completing legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh recovered the missing girl under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
