MENDHAR, Mar 25: The police recovered a minor girl and arrested her kidnapper within 24 hour of the incident in Mendhar area of district Poonch.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of one Maryam Bi, wife of late Mohd Yunis, resident of Ghani village, a Mendhar police party conducted raid and arrested one Mohd Jameel, son of Mohd Zabair, resident of Darana in Mendhar, from Bafliaz area of Surankote today. The kidnapped girl was also recovered from his possession.
The girl after medical examination at local hospital was restored to the family while a case FIR No. 52/ 2017 was registered against the accused in this connection.
