DODA, Mar 25: Police here today recovered the kidnapped minor girl of 16 years age from Akhnoor and arrested the alleged kidnapper Hany Choudhary, son of Jasvinder Singh, 20, resident of Photey, Akhnoor.
As per the case, on March 22, 2025, a written complaint was lodged by guardians of the kidnapped girl at Police Station Bhaderwah that their daughter was kidnapped by Hany Choudhary.
Upon receiving the complaint a case in FIR No. 36/2025 U/S 137(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah.
On the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, a team was constituted with cops from Police Station Bhaderwah under the supervision of SDPO and SHO Bhaderwah to search the kidnapped girl.
Many suspected places were raided and finally today specific information was received on which a raid was conducted at a village in Akhnoor and the girl was recovered and the kidnapper was also arrested.
Further investigation in the case was going on.
