RAJOURI, Dec 6: A kidnapped girl hailing from Kotranka was recovered from Bari Brahmana area of Jammu by Darhal police today.
Identified as 17-year-old Shameema Bagum (name changed), daughter of one Mohd Qasim, resident of Panyad in Kotranka area, the girl was allegedly kidnapped by one Mohd Irshad, son of Mir Mohammed of Sigrote village on November 27. The parents of the girl had lodged report with the concerned Darhal police.
On the basis of a clue the police raided a house in Bari Brahmana area near Jammu and recovered the girl. The youth was arrested. The girl after Medical examination was restored to the parents.
