MENDHAR, July 16: The police recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested her kidnapper from Balnoi area of tehsil Mendhar in district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that on the basis of a complaint from the parents of the girl that their daughter has been kidnapped by one Niaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Shabir of Balnoi, a police party from Mendhar led by SHO Nazir Dar recovered the girl, Nahim Akhtar (14), daughter of Mohd Ishtiaq from near nearby forest area and arrested the accused.
The girl after medical examination was handed over to the family. The police registered a case FIR No. 110/2012 against the accused.
