Kidnapped girl rescued

JAMMU, May 5: Police today recovered a young girl who was allegedly kidnapped by a youth from Baramulla area of Kashmir.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by family members of a girl hailing from Sainik Colony with police post Sainik Colony stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by a youth namely Salman of Baramulla area of Kashmir.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 366 RPC was registered at police post Sainik Colony and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Sainik Colony police post conducted raid and rescued the kidnapped girl.
The accused managed to escape from the spot and hunt is going on to nab him.
Police team led by Incharge Sainik Colony police post SI Sandeep Charak rescued the kidnapped girl under the supervision of SHO Channi Inspector Sajjad Haider, SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
