JAMMU, Aug 22: Miran Sahib police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, few days back, a complaint was lodged by a family with Police Station Miran Sahib stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by a person identified as Sikander, son of Ram Partap, a resident of Rajasthan.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 105/19 under section 366 RPC was registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the abductor.
On specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station conducted raid at Jammu Railway Station and rescued the kidnapped girl. The abductor tried to escape from the spot, but cops apprehended him after a brief chase.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
