Kidnapped girl rescued from Samba, accused arrested

JAMMU, Oct 11: Chatha police rescued a kidnapped girl from Hakkal area of district Samba and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by family members of a girl on October 8 with Chatha police post stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Naresh Kumar, son of Ram Dass of Hakkal.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 203/16 under Section 363RPC was registered in police station Satwari and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Chatha police post conducted raid in Hakkal area of district Samba and rescued the kidnapped girl. The accused tried to escape from the spot, but cops nabbed him also.
The girl has been restored to family members after completing legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Chatha police post SI Sandeep Charak rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
