KISHTWAR, Apr 29: Padder police rescued a kidnapped lady and launched man hunt to arrest the accused.
As per police sources, a man hailing from Laundi Padder lodged a written complaint with police station Padder stating that her wife went missing on April 27 under mysterious circumstances.
Acting over the complaint, a missing report was lodged and during investigation, the woman was rescued.
In her statement to police, the woman stated that Swami Raj, son of Hans Raj of Shetan Gwari Ligri Padder and Sanjay Kumar, son of Ram Chand of Chandna Bhagna Padyarna kidnapped and raped her repeatedly.
They also threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the ordeal to anyone, the lady states in her statement.
The woman was restored to family members after conducting medical examination at District Hospital Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 6/16 under Section 343, 366 and 376 RPC has been registered against the accused persons and manhunt has been launched to nab them.
