REASI, Dec 10: A 15-year old girl from village Chapra in Talwara, who was allegedly kidnapped on December 7, has been recovered and restored to the family.
As per the written complaint, lodged by father of the victim, the girl had gone to market for shopping and did not return.
Acting on the complaint, Police registered a case FIR number 235/2021, under section 363 IPC at Police Station Reasi and recovered the girl from Sumbhard area of Dharmkund in Ramban.
According to Police, the accused manage to flee taking advantage of darkness. Police is on job to arrest the accused at the earliest while the victim has been handed over to her legal heirs after her medical examination was conducted by a board of doctors and completion of other legal procedures, said SSP Reasi, Shailender Singh.
