POONCH, Feb 2 6: The police recovered a minor girl who was kidnapped during the intervening night of Feb 20-21, 2024 from Poonch area.
Official sources said that police team headed by Insp Kunal Singh (SHO) after receiving complaint, started investigation to ensure that the minor girl be recovered safely.
The complainant namely- Imtaiz Ahmed resident of Khanetar village in Poonch revealed that his minor daughter was kidnapped during night. A case FIR No. 35/2024, U/S 363 IPC was registered at P/S Poonch, and an investigation was launched.
After the strenuous efforts the police team recovered the girl on Sunday. The girl was handed over to the family after completing legal formalities.
