REASI, Sept 29: Acting swiftly, Police recovered a kidnapped minor girl within 48 hours and arrested the accused.
According to Police, 17-year old girl from Chattisgarh, presently putting up with his brother at Marhi in Reasi, was allegedly kidnapped when she had gone to market for shopping on last Monday.
Following a complaint in this regard by brother of the victim, SSP Reasi, Shailender Singh constituted special team of Reasi Police, which recovered the girl from Domana-Jammu from the custody of accused Dharminder Suryavanshi, resident of Chhatisgarh.
After conducting medical examination of the victim through board of doctors and completing other legal procedures, the girl was handed over to legal heirs. Further investigation into the case is going on.
