RAMBAN, Sept 17: A kidnapped minor girl has been rescued from Kashmir by Ukhral Police.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by a family with Police Post Ukhral stating that their minor daughter has been kidnapped by some unknown persons from their house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 76/18 under Section 363 RPC was registered at Ramsoo Police Station and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Ukhral Police Post rescued the kidnapped minor girl from Kulgam Kashmir.
After completing legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to legal heirs.
Police team led by Incharge Ukhral Police Post SI Mukhtiar Ali rescued the kidnapped girl under the supervision of SHO Ramsoo Inspector Naveen Angral, SDPO Banihal Sajjad Sarvar, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
