JAMMU, Sept 15: Nagrota Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person regarding kidnapping of his minor sister by a person namely Dayaram Chandra, son of Anuj Ram of Kawla Jhar, Kukdoor, Kabirdham Chhattisgarh.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 336/2022 under section 363 IPC got registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and assisted by PSI Deep Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar put in hectic efforts and finally rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the abductor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
