REASI, Mar 1: Police here today recovered a minor girl within 24 hours of her kidnapping.
A man from Christian Mohalla, Reasi yesterday lodged a complaint at Police Station Reasi that his minor daughter (11 year old) went to market on February 26 but didn’t came back.
She was not even found after his family members started searching her.
The complainant doubted that the girl was kidnapped by one Bablu son of Siya Ram of Faizganz, Uttar Pradesh.
Police lodged a case in this regard U/S 363 IPC and search was launched by multiple police parties.
After hectic efforts the minor was located in Sohana Mohalla, Chandigarh along with the kidnapper Bablu.
Amit Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi framed special teams under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Reasi, Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO Reasi Inspector Rajesh Goutam and a team was sent to Chandigarh for custody of the minor.
With the help of local Police raids were conducted and the girl was recovered and the accused was arrested.
