KISHTWAR, Jan 10: Police here today recovered a minor kidnapped girl and arrested her kidnapper.
As per the case on September 21, 2022 Police Station Chatroo received a complaint from a man that her daughter was kidnapped by some unknown persons.
Accordingly, a case in FIR No.78/2022 was registered and investigation started.
A special team headed by SHO Chatroo Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed assisted by PSI Moin Khan under the supervision DySP DAR Zia Ul Haq recovered the girl and arrested the kidnapper from Zewar area of Kishtwar and he was identified as Nazir Ahmed son of Mam Din resident of Naginigad Keshwan.
After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs.
SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal has appealed to the public to cooperate with police to curb the crime from the area.
