JAMMU, May 27: Gangyal Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Gangyal stating that her 15-year-old minor daughter has been kidnapped by a person namely Sujeet Yadav, son of Badhan Yadav of Uttar Pradesh.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 59/2022 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma conducted series of raids and finally rescued the kidnapped minor girl vis arrested the abductor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
