Kidnapped minor rescued from Ludhiana, lady abductor arrested

JAMMU, July 1: Domana Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl from Ludhiana within 24 hours and arrested the lady abductor.
As per police sources, yesterday a lady lodged a complaint with Police Station Domana stating that her 13-year-old daughter has been kidnapped by a lady namely Sheetal.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 178/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Domana led by PSI Younis Khanday was constituted under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
The team was able to recover the kidnapped minor girl from Ludhiana, Punjab and arrested the accused identified as Sheetal, wife of Dallu, a resident of Janipur District Jammu.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the minor girl has been handed over to her legal heirs.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress.
