AKHNOOR, Dec 24: Kids Planet Public School, Akhnoor organised its Annual Prize Distribution Function, here today.
The school premises was abuzz with music and excitement as the parents gathered to witness their children performance on the theme “Wonder World of Cartoons”.
The programme began with lighting of the lamp followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana. The school Principal, Mona Gupta greeted the gathering and read the school annual report, which traced the long strides and significant progress made during this session by KPPS. The school was privileged by the presence of the revered Sr Vice President JKPCC & Former Minister Congress, Sham Lal Sharma,.
The Chief Guest along with the Chairperson Rohit Gupta and Principal, Mona Gupta felicitated meritorious students for their outstanding achievements in different competitions held throughout the year.
The chief guest laid emphasis on promoting moral education in all Government and private education institutions to protect age old moral ethics and rich cultural heritage of the country.
He advocated for introduction of Dogri subject in the schools from the elementary level.
