JAMMU, Mar 1: Students of Kids Planet Public School Akhnoor, exhibiting exemplary sense of social responsibility and have raised a fund amounting to Rs 1,12000 for Helpage India.
Helpage India is an international level social organization working for welfare of senior citizens throughout country.
A formal prize distribution function organized at school premises in which appreciation certificates and prizes were distributed among the deserving students.
Speaking on the occasion, Neeru Sharma Khajuria assured that the amount raised by the students would be utilized for different age care projects and programmes.
Chairman of the school, Rohit Gupta and Principal Mona Gupta along with other coordinators were also present on the occasion.
