JAMMU, Apr 1: National secretary and spokesperson of Youth Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Rishi Kilam expressed deep concern over the increasing drug menace which has now taken roots in Kashmir.
Referring to the incident wherein a drug addict youth killed his mother for money to buy drugs, the NCP leader said that the ugly and painful situation has terrified the innocent family members who try to stop their drug addict children from consuming drugs.
Kilam appealed J&K UT administration to take strong steps to check the import of drugs in J&K and find actual source of drugs in J&K so that new developments like killings and heinous crimes in J&K is stopped and the future of youth is saved.
