JAMMU, May 13: The killing of Kashmiri Pandit youth Rahul Bhat and Policeman Rayaz Ahmad Thoker have been widely condemned by various political parties, social organisations and prominent individuals of Jammu and Kashmir.

JKNPP’s general secretary Hakikat Singh condemned inhuman, barbaric and most unfortunate murderous killing of Rahul Bhat -a Migrant Government employee working in Teshil office Chadoora in broad daylight and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to give strength to bear this irrepressible loss.
JKPCC expressed serious concern over the unabated bloodshed of a Policeman and innocent killing of civilians in Kashmir and termed it as a matter of grave concern attributing to fear psychosis amongst the citizens.
An emergent meeting was organised under the chairmanship of MK Bhardwaj, president J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu to condemn the killing of innocent Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat- a Revenue employee at Tehsil office Chadoora wherein all the members of Association paid rich tribute to the departed soul and pledged to stand by the bereaved family.

Former Minister Prof Saifuddun Soz condemned the killing of Rahul Bhat and said that he was recognized as a gentleman, a peaceful person and a citizen, respecting human values and he didn’t deserve this fate. “I feel extremely sad over the killing of innocent citizens belonging to the KP community,” he said.
