JAMMU, Dec 27: To support the agitating farmers, the State Committee of Jammu and Kashmir Kisan Tehrik organized a one-day convention at Gurjar Trust, here today and passed a number of resolutions.
While addressing the convention, CPI (M) leader Mohd Yusuf Tarigami alleged that corporate companies and their international counterparts want to have their domination over the India economy, in which they have freedom to decide the price for the farm produce, wages and working time of the workers. He predicted that the Prime Minister’s stand to not settle the issue and refusing repeal of laws will lead to such a situation that more and more sections of the people will come forward and join the struggle.
Kishore Kumar, president of J&K Kisan Tehrik, announced that the working of group of AIKSCC has decided to write to all the non-BJP Chief Ministers to have a summit on the issue of three Farms Acts, GST and Electricity Amendment Bill.
S P Kesar, regional Secretary CPI (M) said that both workers and peasants were getting united to fight against onslaught of Modi Government.
