Kishmish declines on sluggish demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 30:  In restricted activity, kishmish prices declined by Rs 100 per 40 kg here today, owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing belts also put pressure on kishmish prices.
Kishmish Indian Yellow and green fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 3,300-4,100 and Rs 3,400-7,000 per 40 kg, respectively.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals, mainly led to a fall in kishmish prices on the wholesale dry fruit market here.
