Starting on day 2 of their overnight score of 291/9, India barely managed to add 27 runs against the Kiwis as medium pacer Neil Wagner dismissed Umesh Yadav (9) to wrap up things for the hosts.
On the other hand, all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja remained unbeaten on individual score of 42.
For India, Murli Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara were the top scorer with scores of 65 and 62 respectively.
