KKHMS highlights grievances of KPs

JAMMU, Dec 15: A joint meeting of Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha, Kashmiri Khatri Yuvak Sabha and displaced Kashmiri Unemployed Youths Union was held at Jagti, here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of President KKHMS, Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan.
Various issues related to Kashmiri Migrant Community were discussed and it was urged upon the UT and the Centre Govt to fulfil the genuine grievances of migrants at the earliest.
The demands projected by the Sabha included enhancement of monthly relief with free medical aid, filling up of pending posts under PM Package overaged unemployed youths and special announcement regarding age relaxation, one time compensation of Rs 25 lakh to over-aged youths, reservation of 10 seats each in all categories of civil service examination for migrants and restoration of properties and assets which were illegally encroached by anti social elements in valley, besides declaring the distress sale null and void and passing of Temple and Shrines bill at an earliest.
The members who spoke on the occasion were Chaman Lal, Najawan, Suraj, K Wadhawan, Mohan K Kohli, Vinoo Khera, Vickey Ji, Monu Kumar, Kirti Kumar, Ashok K Kapoor, Satish Kapoor, Madan Lal Wadhawan, Sunny Tandon, Akshey Sehgal and RK Suri.
