KKHMS submits memorandum to Narendra Modi, Amit Shah

JAMMU, July 29: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS) on behalf of displaced Hindus from Valley has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister , Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah.
The memorandum was submitted by Ramesh Chander Mahajan president of the Sabha. He urged the Union Government to address the ‘woes ‘ and expedite the concrete plan of ‘rehabilitation and settlement’ with packages provided for Kashmiri migrants and non-migrant Hindus of Valley on top priority. Apprising them about the grievances of internally displaced people living in the pathetic condition, he urged them to settle these demands on priority basis.
The memorandum demanded enhancement of monthly cash relief Rs 5000/- per soul with free medical aid/Medi-claim to relief holders.
Besides, it demanded 40% of permanent share in job reservation and creation of 35000 new posts in various Central and UT Government departments, agencies like, Railways, SSC, IBPS, nationalised Banks in lieu of 27000 migrant employees who had retired since last 34 years and spot recruitment drive in all State/Central police forces for migrant and non migrant unemployed Hindu youths.
Moreover , he demanded new additional 15000 posts for UT of J&K with relaxation provision of new (special drive ) Recruitment Rules 2023 of PM package along with an age limit of 45 years for providing jobs to every single household of Kashmiri migrant and non migrant unemployed Hindu youths with implementation of transferable job policies like other employees working within UT of J&K as well as Centre government departments.
The memorandum demanded grant of special financial package under self employment & skill development for starting up the business/ SSI/MSME ventures and entrepreneurship under mission youth initiative programme to avail benefits up to over age limit of 55 years with one time compensation of Rs 30 lakh to over aged youths since 1990.
