JAMMU, Oct 12: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sahba (KKHMS) has appealed the Government to relocate PM’s Package employees outside Kashmir valley on priority.
Expressing serious concern over the non-seriousness of the Union Government and J&K Administration towards settling the genuine demands of Kashmiri migrants, KKHMS demanded implementation of transfer policies with issuance of transfer orders in favour of suffering PM’s Package employees from Kashmiri valley to various Jammu departments and attached them with the Relief Organization (M) Jammu.
The Sabha, in a handout issued today appealed the Government to resume dialogue process by striking all PM package employees who are on protest for last 153 days under banner of All Migrant Displaced Employees Association Kashmir on priority without any delay.
Further, appeal was made to the Government for not treating the PM’s Package employees as bonded slaves & scapegoats. The Sabha sought necessary instructions to administration including all HoDs/DDOs of departments to not harass and pressurize migrant employees by unnecessarily issuing draconic circulars of biometric attendance along with resuming their duties in prevailing situation in Kashmir valley and creating human rights violation by unnecessarily withholding salaries from several months.
“There is still a fear psychosis among all minority employees and a sense of insecurity among them as Government has failed to preserve their worth living and guaranteed right of life while performing the duty at their work and living places in Kashmir valley,” the Sabha said and urged the administration to seriously take cognizance of the matter for settling the genuine demands of permanent solution of relocating all minority PM’s package employees.
