KKTY organizes hawan for world peace at river Vaishav

KULGAM, Nov 9: Kounsarnag-Kramsars Tirtha Trust, Kashmir (KKTY), today organized a hawan on the banks of river Vaishav known as Vaishvika in Hindu scriptures originating from historic Kounsarnag-Kramsars lake for world peace and forgiveness for devastating floods in Jammu & Kashmir Valley.
Briefing Media after the hawan Chairman APMCC Vinod Pandit said that the hawan was also for world peace and bringing sanity among the people to respect nature.
Pandit said that KKTY performed hawan and offered milk to the holy river and sough blessings from Mother Nature.
Giving details APMCC national spokesperson King Bharati said that earlier they had organized a yatra to the holy pond to pray for the blessings of mother nature which was foiled by some anti social elements adding our purpose was to worship Mother nature and seek blessings.
The activists had applied for security once again giving the date of yatra on September 15 but due to floods and devastation it was decided to hold the yatra next year on Nag Panchami from Kashmir side.
The hawan was coordinated by All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) and Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Trust.
Prominent among those who participated include Vinod Pandit Chairman APMCC, Ravinder Pandit Senior Coordinator Delhi APMCC, Rakesh Pandita Senior activist APMCC, Vinod Tikoo and others.
