JAMMU, May 6: Kashmiri Migrant Democratic Front (KMDF) in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of M K Yogi its president reconstituted the Executive Body and elected Mr Yogi as its president again.
Sanjay Raina was elected as vice president, A K Bhat as spokesperson, Ashwani Bhat as organizer and Roop Krishan Koul as treasurer.
Ravi Kachroo, T K Koul, Shafali Bhan were elected as secretaries. Besides Sunil Ji Koul, Aashtosh Pandita, Nazir Ahmed Lone, Naseeb Singh, Manjeet Singh, M K Raina, Dolly Koul, B L Bhat and A K Koul were elected as members.
The meeting discussed the burning issues of the displaced Pandits and it alleged that nothing concrete was so far done by both Union and State Government to mitigate the sufferings of the displaced people.
It alleged that the rehabilitation and employment package is pending for a long time.
The meeting warned to launch agitation in case the Government further delays the settlement of demands. Mr Yogi asked the members to be ready for the struggle.
