JAMMU, Sept 5: A meeting of Kashmiri Migrant Retired Employees Forum (KMREF) was held here, today under the chairmanship of Pamposh Koul in which the long pending issue of leave encashment was discussed.
The meeting made an appeal to Governor, Satya Pal Malik seeking his personnel intervention in settling the demand pending for decades together. The meeting said that the leave encashment was unfortunately denied to retired migrant employees for the wrong reasons.
The meeting expressed the hope that the Governor will look into the long pending demand of retired migrant employees and take personnel interest in solving the issue soon.
