JAMMU, Mar 13: Krishna Nagar Residents Committee (KNRC), Jammu, today sent a memorandum through speed post to Minister for Planning, Development and Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra, apprising him about the deteriorating sanitary conditions of the locality.
In the memorandum, the residents alleged that the sanitary conditions of the locality have been deteriorating day by day while the Municipal Corporation authorities have shut their eyes. They further alleged that the dirty nullah flowing in the mid of the Mohalla remains choked and spreads bad odour, which spoils the whole environment of the locality.
We approached to Municipal Commissioner, KL Khajuria in this regard but there was no positive response from his side, they said.
They also proposed the Government to construct a separate passage for outgoing vehicles of locality after taking required space from the compound area of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Canal Road, which is quite adjacent to the Mohalla.
