KOA chief for more cooperation among likeminded KP groups

JAMMU, Nov 3: KP Volunteers organised an interaction programme with Kashmiri Overseas Association (KOA) president, Dr Archana Kakroo here at Muthi today.
Dr Archana Kakroo, president and CEO KOA was the chief guest in the function while Anil Ganjoo, secretary KOA was the guest of honour.
Alka Lahori vice president AIKS, Anil Bhat PTI Bureau chief, Kusum Tikoo a well known artist were among other guests on the occasion.
Other community dignitaries present who are also acting advisors to KPV included Murar Ji Koul, Dr Sushil Wattal, B L Dhar, VeerJi Saraf, Kuldeep Raina, Satish Bhat.
KP Volunteers immense and bold contribution to community and fellow countrymen in the UT of J&K and Delhi NCR was lauded. The frontliners were awarded for their significant all round involvement to urgent rescue of all stress calls, emergency medical and food supplies even to most remote areas.
The awardees included Vikram Koul, Deepak Koul, Roshan Pandita, Ashok Bhat, Ms Shoki Lidoo, Opinder Lidhoo, Ramesh Koul, Naveen Challoo, Ashok Raina, Sanjay Jalali, Sudesh Koul, Anil Bhan, Ayush Raina.
KOA assistance of COVID emergency aid to KPV in terms of medical equipment supply for needy and free remote doctors consultation for ailing patients from across the Globe was highly regarded and applauded. The association of KOA and KPV was announced to be a great step in greater service of community at large.
The chief guest Dr Archana Kakroo called upon a global unity to be achieved amongst all like minded and community service organisations for uplifting of weaker sections in the community. She also reiterated the strength of youth and how we need the community young to be involved more in roles of policy making.
