KOA honours Ravinder Pandita

JAMMU, July 5: Kashmir Overseas Association (KOA), America awarded Ravinder Pandita, Head of Save Sharda Committee for his outstanding work on Sharda Mission yesterday in a Live stream event.
The coveted award by the organization of Diaspora Kashmiris living in USA was presented in a live event beamed from America for the preservation of Heritage & Culture by Save Sharda Committee. KOA president, Dr. Archana Kachroo highlighted the achievements of Ravinder Pandita towards Sharda Mission.
A plaque that will be sent from America will be received by Ravinder Pandita here in India later this month. KOA lauds the efforts of Save Sharda Committee in reclaiming and rebuilding of Sharda Yatra Temple at Teetwal, that has been thrown open to devotees in March, this year.
Ravinder Pandita in his address complimented KOA for recognizing his services and stressed the need for all diaspora to stand up for preservation of heritage and Culture in J&K. ” Sharda is not just a temple but a civilization and oldest university with the most pious Sangam or confluence of Kishenganga, Madhumati & Saraswati” said Ravinder Pandita.
