JAMMU, Sept 24: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Wasim Kohli visited various Panchayats of Kalakote constituency and projected the burning issues of the people.
Kohli, Parbhari ST Morcha and member executive body paid visit to Saranu, Panda Kothian, Barwari, Bindigala, Darkeri, Broh, Kalyar and other areas. The locals of the area discussed their issues with the visiting BJP leader. He listened to the people who met him at various Panchayats and assured them that grievances would be given priority.
He asked party activists to gear up their activities in view of upcoming Panchayat/Municipal polls. He appreciated the decision of Panchayat/Municipal Elections in J&K and told that it will help common people to get their issues addressed. He further said opposition parties who have boycotted these polls have admitted their defeat in advance.
Kohli discussed the various achievements of BJP and Prime Minister Narender Modi. He lauded the policies of the BJP Govt.
Kohli also interacted with several delegations to discuss about the welfare work and problems faced by the people in the area with regard to drinking water, electricity supply, road connectivity, health care facilities etc. He also demanded that vacant posts of doctors in various hospitals of the area and also in schools and Higher Secondary Schools be filled up with out any delay. On this occasion some people of the area joined BJP.
Kohli highlighted the electrification works started recently in some areas of Kalakote. He further claimed that BJP is going to come back in 2019 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narinder Modi.
