NEW DELHI: Leading sports personalities including ace badminton player Saina Nehwal, cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have volunteered to be associated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet ‘Swacchh Bharat’ mission.
Others who have chosen to associate themselves with this campaign include tennis star Mahesh Bhupati, billiard player Pankaj Advani, politician Sidhant Mohapatra and Odiya actress Aparajita Mohanty.
Patna-based founder of Super 30,free IIT coaching centre for poor meritorious students Anand Kumar and social reformer Kunal Kishore have also join the movement.
“Each one of the nine distinguished persons have made highest achievements in their respective fields and have brought glory and cheers for the people of India”, said Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. (AGENCIES)
