Kohli urges Maharashtrians to visit Kashmir without any fear

SRINAGAR, May 22: Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli, today held meetings with various ministers and political leaders of Maharashtra Government at Malbar Mumbai and apprised them about political and developmental scenario of J&K.
The meeting was attended by Mehar Girish, senior Cabinet Minister, Vilas Roy Patil, MLA and Narayanan Gujar and Babanath Patil political leaders.
Mr. Kohli told them that Jammu and Kashmir is marching fast towards peace and prosperity, adding that with the efforts of the present dispensation normalcy in the valley has returned to a large extent. He apprised them that thousands of tourists from across the country have reached Kashmir valley to enjoy the nature’s beauty.
“Kashmir is safe for tourists so the people from all over the country should visit Kashmir without any fear,” said that Minister and added that the hospitality of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is known all over the world. He said Jammu and Kashmir is abode of brotherhood where the people of different religions live with peace and tranquility since centuries.
The Minister also attended Seerat-ul-Nabi (SAW) Conference organized by Darul Uloom Ulma Sunat-ul-Jamat, Mumbai.
Prominent Islamic Scholars of the country including Moulana Gohwar Rubani, Moulana Hashim Kanpuri, Mufti Mazhar Khan Ashrafi, Mufti Dr Abdul Rehman Anjaria, Moulana Qamar Raza Ashrafi, Moulana Asrar Bauqi and Mufti Arshad Ali addressed the conference.
