KOLKATA, Dec 24: The much anticipated Christmas tree at Apeejay House’s lawn in Park Street is again in spotlight, in the heart of Kolkata’s Christmas celebrations along with cookies & carols.
Apeejay Surrendra Group has raised another milestone, a 60-foot-tall and 20 foot diameter X Mas tree with a four-foot scintillating star at the pinnacle, which is the tallest in the city so far. The Park Street area has always been the cynosure of all eyes during this festive season.
” Just adjacent to our Christmas tree we have positioned a 6-foot-tall Jolly Santa Claus with sleigh and a 8-foot?tall fascinating fairy. Beloved Santa is accompanied by 3 golden regal reindeers. Traditionally, Park Street is the go-to place for Christmas revellers in the city of joy, by the virtue of its location Apeejay House, has always been the starting point of Cheery Christmas vibes for those approaching Park Street from Chowringhee Road,” company ceo Shouvik Mandal said.
The sacred tree has been decorated with 50 big and 150 small stars, 100 balls, 50 bells and 55 gift boxes. Over 30,000 LED lamp lights and 5 LED light balls have been used for lighting up the magnanimous Christmas tree. In addition, to compliment the marvellous decoration, the exterior of Apeejay House building has been decorated with tantalising lights. 23 people have worked for 11-days to shape up our 60-feet-tall royal Christmas tree!
