JAMMU, Mar 9: In yet another effort to preserve the melody of Kashmiri music and to promote the Kashmiri language which is indeed the need of the hour Kongposh Audio-visual released a new Kashmiri Bhajan here in the premises of Vijyeshwar Karyalaya, Talab Tilloo, today.
On this occasion, M.D of Kongposh Audio-Visual re-assured the media persons that Kongposh has embarked on a journey of keeping the age old cultural ethos and the mother-tongue of Kashmiri people alive by way of presenting the melodious pieces of his work to the viewers especially the youth of Kashmiri community so that they feel a connect with Kashmiri Music.
The Bhajan released by Jyotshi Avtar Krishan Shastri at Vijyeshwar Karyalaya, Ajit Colony, Bohri, is a new Shiv-Bhajan…. “ Az Cham Shiv Naathas Poshe’ Pooza…”. Its music was arranged by an Award-winning Music Director – Rajesh Khar, sung by a promising singer- Sanam Sajad and the lyrics was penned down by a well known poet Pitamber Razdan.
Rajesh Khar complimented the Vijyeshwar Karyalaya for cooperation and also urged the Kashmiri diaspora across the globe to keep on supporting his efforts.
