Koul asks Pandits to ensure cent percent participation in elections

JAMMU, Apr 4: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir Displaced District today held a one day citizens meet at K K Resorts, Udayawala Borhi.
Ashok Koul general secretary (Org) BJP, J&K and Ladakh UTs was the chief guest on the occasion. The welcome address was made by Chand Ji Bhat, district president KDD.
Addressing the gathering Ajay Bharti, Ex MLC highlighted the purpose of holding such programmes. He gave details of various activities , the KDD is performing for the welfare of displaced community.
He said at party level the utmost efforts are being made to settle the grievances of the people and some are being forwarded to concerned quarters and also being pursued for timely redressal.
Ashok Koul, while highlighting the purpose of organising such programmes said that the party wants to have a feedback from them regarding enrolment of voters and updating of voter lists.
He also commended the role of the displaced district activists in this regard and urged the participants to suggest the ways so that 100 percent voter enrolment can be achieved.
He said as the delimitation process is over and the elections can be declared at any time now so the people have to get ready for the same. He urged the members of displaced community that they should not take the election lightly as the vote has a great value in democracy and hence the community should ensure 100 percent participation in the election process. He appealed the community members to cast their vote in favour of the party candidates so that BJP can form the next Government in the UT of J&K and aspirations of the people are fulfilled.
He urged the party men to visit every nook and corner and apprise the people about the policies, and welfare schemes launched by Narendra Modi Government in J&K.
Ex MLC and senior party leader, Surinder Ambardar, district vice presidents, district general secretaries, all office bearers , Mandal presidents , activists of Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha and prominent citizens attended the programme.
