JAMMU, Jan 10: The two-day-long Mandal training camp for party workers in Jammu East concluded on Sunday, with top leaders exhorting the members to work tirelessly for welfare of society in every nook and corner of the Union Territory.
The Mandal training camp which was inaugurated by BJP senior vice president Yudhvir Sethi on Saturday concluded with Ashok Koul, J&K BJP general secretary (Organization) addressing the party workers.
In his interactive session with the workers, Koul asserted that the BJP has worked for the nationalism, good governance and towards the upliftment of poor through its Garib Lakshya Yojana.
“Ever since its inception, the BJP has had nationalism in its DNA and has been propagating the same to this day. In the 1980s, the BJP worked for good governance, under the leadership of the great Atal Behari Vajpayee, who was a pioneer in introducing good governance in this country and the people are reaping benefits of it even now.
“After Narendra Modi Government came to power, it has not only retained the previous policies intact but also started working for uplifting of poor of this country, through its Garib Lakshya Yojana under which the weaker sections of the society have been provided with houses, education and medical amenities,” said Koul as he gave a brief history of the party functioning to the workers.
Urging the workers to abide by team spirit to make this organisation even greater, Koul impressed upon them to develop and work for mutual trust among each other.
“The party believes in ‘Pehchan’ and ‘Nirmaan’ of a worker. You have to identify the workers and then help them in their constructive development, infusing the sense of nationalism so that they work for the betterment of this great nation,” he told the workers, asking them to further connect with retired professionals.
Meanwhile, party’s two day Mandal training camp at RS Pura was inaugurated by its district president H S Pummy today.
Speaking on the occasion Pummy said that training camps like these go a long way in helping the new party workers to understand the functioning and policies and ideology of the party. He said BJP’s policies are different than other parties as it is focused around the national interest. “We don’t compromise when it comes to the national interests. The party made no compromise on Article 370, Ram Temple and Common Civil Code”, he added.
Pummy also accused the Congress and other opposition parties for creating a mess in the country due to their decades long wrong policies.
