SRINAGAR, July 13: Ashok Koul BJP general secretary ( Organisation) inaugurated party’s Social Media Office here today.
Thakur Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia social media Prabhari, Bilal Ahmed Parray, Mohammed Iqbal Wani, Sajid Yosuf and many others graced the inauguration.
Addressing the media, Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia who is social media Prabari in party emphasized the growing influence of social media in disseminating the truth. He highlighted its pivotal role in revealing the reality during the turbulent period when the “Paradise on Earth” bore witness to the sinister agenda of anti-national elements. Since the transformative events of August 5, 2019, the new era of Naya Kashmir has emerged, and media, particularly social media, has played a crucial role in unearthing the truth.
Jasrotia emphasized that, once again, it is the responsibility of the media, especially social media, to circulate accurate and authentic portrayals of Naya Kashmir.
The inauguration event witnessed the presence of esteemed party leaders, including former MLC Surender Ambardar, Sajid Yousf, Mohammed Iqbal Wani, Sheikh Salman, Raja Arif, Sahil Bashir Bhat, Tiger G M Sheikh and many others. Their collective participation underlined the commitment of the JK BJP unit to foster a robust and transparent communication network that showcases the true essence of Naya Kashmir.
The establishment of the new Social Media Office marks a significant milestone in the JK BJP’s efforts to empower social media platforms to shape narratives based on truth and dispel misinformation, said Ashok Koul. This initiative is expected to strengthen the bond between the party and the people of Jammu and Kashmir, while also fostering an inclusive digital space for constructive discussions and progress.
He said that Social Media has played pivotal role in the return of normalcy to Kashmir as a fourth pillar of democracy. Koul said this is the office of entire media fraternity for the cause of Kashmir and his party stands with them.
