JAMMU, Nov 14: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul today urged people to avail the benefits of Central sponsored schemas and register themselves on PM’s newly launched Vishavkarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.
Ashok Koul was speaking at Dogri Sanstha here in Karan Nagar while launching the Yojna along with Prof Lalit Mangotra, president, Dogri Sanstha, Yudhveer Sethi, vice president, BJP J&K and corporator Ward No.9, Suneet Raina. On the occasion he inaugurated Dogri Theater at Kunwar Viyogi, Auditorium Dogri Bhawan.
Elaborating further Koul said that with this ambitious scheme, Central Government under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendera Modi aimed to empower Karam Yogi’s who are building nation with their skills.
Congratulating people on Vishavkarma Day, Koul appealed them to get register with departmental portal at nearest common service centers, which is free of cost.
On the occasion, Prof Lalit Mangotra profusely complimented the corporator, Suneet Raina for completing the multipurpose hall at Dongri Sanstha. He said that with the completion of this hall a facility for the library and the cultural organisations has been created within the city. To carry out literary and cultural activities is the great contribution in the progress of any society. Adding he further said that Dogri Sanstha, Dogri writers and Dogras will remain obliged to Suneet Raina for his contribution.
Earlier, presenting welcome address, Corporator Ward No. 9, Suneet Raina highlighted the positive approach of people in achieving several developmental goals in last five years. Raina said that with the co-operation of people many major projects like completion of drainage, beautification etc are completed ,with the construction of multipurpose halls at Jambu Lochan Hall, entry gates for society are under execution.
Prominent who were present on the occasion included Arvind Gupta, State secretary BJP, Chander Mohan Sharma, senior BJP leader, Ex Deputy Mayor. Purnima Sharma , members of BJP Jammu district team and BJP Ambphalla Mandal team.
