JAMMU, Sept 23: A Working Committee Meeting of BJP J&K Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) workers was organised by Chand Jee Bhat, its President at Geeta Bhawan, Muthi, here today.
Ashok Koul, State General Secretary BJP (Organisation) was the chief guest, who while addressing the meeting asked for strengthening of the organization and appealed the workers to convince the voters to vote for the party and make the candidates win the municipal elections.
MLC GL Raina stressed on preparations of the Municipal elections and directed party workers to leave no stone unturned to take the party to wining path in the elections.
MLC Vikram Randhwa while speaking said that BJP has always supported Kashmiri Displaced Community and the party is always trying to mitigate the problems of the Kashmiri Pandits.
BL Razdan, District General Secretary presented the resolution passed by all the members in the meeting.
The main points in the resolution were that minority status for Hindus & Sikhs in the State, passing of Hindu Temples and Shrines Bill, immediate evacuation of land and property of Displaced Community, one place settlement of KP community and creation of 6000 more jobs for unemployed KP youth.
Ashwani Ji conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were T N Bhat, Veena Gurtoo, Babita Ji, Sheela Handoo, Rakesh Fotedar, Rakesh Koul, Makhan Lal Bhat, Rajaji Tickoo, Sunil Bhat, Sanjay Bhat, Dolly ji and Dimple.
