REASI, Aug 10: Near about 400 pilgrims undertook the difficult Kounsar Nag yatra that cuts across the Pir Panjal mountain range from Reasi district.
The yatra, which was flagged off last week by DC Reasi, concluded today. Pilgrims undertook the Malikote route to reach the holy site in South Kashmir.
Nishant Sharma, President of Kounsar Nag Yatra Samiti, while talking to the Excelsior, said that locals along with the administration provided full support to the pilgrims. Locals had set up Langars at various locations along the route and also opened their dhoks for accommodation to the yatris.
The holy mace reached the lake site on August 7 afternoon. After performing Puja and Aarti at the lake site, the pilgrims had started their backward journey on the very next day.
