JAMMU, July 13: Kashmiri displaced employees of Jal Shakti/ PHE department in Jammu have claimed that they were without salary for the last four months.
In a meeting of All Kashmir JS (PHE) Displaced Employees Welfare Association Jammu held today at PHE Complex Jammu, under the chairmanship of its president Ravinder Razdan, the members alleged that for the last four months i.e March, April May & June 2022, the salaries of displaced employees of Jal Shakti (PHE) department have not been released. The salaries are delayed due to the merger of Jal Shakti with Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jammu.
The Association sent memorandum to LG’s grievance cell also but no response has been received till date. When they approached the concerned for release of salaries, they assured things will be sorted out shortly but now even after 4 months the employees are suffering and no body is bothered.
The members appealed to the Finance Department to resolve the matter at an earliest and release the salary to relieve the employees from mental pain and agony.
